About Kovac Family
We create products with as little impact on the environment as possible.
For you to hold on to as long as possible.
Based in Stockholm and on the island of Gotland, we are the Kovac Family, Christopher, Camilla, Klara and Filippa. As founders and operators of Kovac Family, we’ve been crafting innovative products since 2012. Our passion for design and sustainability has led us to create a diverse range of products, from sculptural furniture and lighting to luxurious skincare.
We believe that design is a powerful force for positive change. By merging groundbreaking innovation with timeless elegance, we strive to create objects that not only enrich our lives but also contribute to a more sustainable future.

"As a kid I liked to create objects for my small trolls that lived in my bookshelf, I still do this today, playing with shapes"
Camilla Kovac is the creative director and product designer. She graduated with an MFA from Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts and Design in 2000 and was immediately awarded with Svensk Form’s Ung Svensk Form.
Camilla gained international recognition for being ahead of her time when creating three-dimensional textiles, such as the famous bubbly lamp BPL produced by Italian Rotaliana in 2000 which was described as “extraordinary poetic brightness!” by the Swedish design magazine Sköna Hem.
She was soon invited by Helena Christensen to participate in Danish company Vipp’s charity event in New York City, where Camilla exhibited her work alongside Karim Rashid and Bono from U2.
Camilla Kovac has received several grants from the The Swedish Arts Grants Committee, followed by awards such as D&AD, Special Mention Award XXI Compasso d'Oro, Utmärkt Svensk Form and Light Idea of The Year, she has also received grants from Vinnova, Sweden's Innovation Agency.
